Worldwide Communication – Our School’s Collaboration with the British Council 🇵🇰 🇬🇧
We are proud to share memorable moments from our school’s participation in the British Council’s Connecting Classrooms programme, where the Khanewal Cluster had the valuable opportunity to engage with the Birmingham Cluster (UK).
This collaboration provided our students with an inspiring global learning experience. Through these exchanges, our learners were exposed to new perspectives, teaching practices, and cultural understanding.
✨ Highlights of Our Global Learning Journey:
📸 Interactive Sessions with UK Teachers
Our students had engaging meetings with visiting UK teachers, where they learned about classroom environments, teaching styles, and student participation in UK schools. These interactions greatly enhanced students’ confidence and curiosity.
🏫 Classroom Visits & Observations
During the exchange, special observations were made regarding teaching methodologies, student engagement, and academic focus areas. One particularly valuable insight was the strong emphasis on structured writing skills, which inspired meaningful reflection and learning for both clusters.
💻 Skype Sessions – Cross-Country Learning
Our students participated in live Skype sessions with partner schools in the UK. These sessions created a platform for authentic communication, collaborative discussions, and shared learning.
♻ Student Discussions on Recycling & Sustainability
A key discussion theme was recycling and environmental responsibility. Students from both countries exchanged ideas on:
• Why recycling is important
• Environmental challenges in our communities
• How young learners can contribute to a sustainable future
These conversations encouraged critical thinking, global awareness, and responsible citizenship among students.
🌱 Building Global Citizens
Such experiences are instrumental in developing open-minded, confident, and socially aware learners who understand the importance of sustainability and international cooperation.

 🌱 Fighting Climate Change: A Green Mission Led by Our Students At our school, we believe that meaningful change begins with education, awareness, and action. Despite limited resources and no external funding, our students are showing the world how determination and unity can spark a true environmental movement. 🌍 From Vision to Action It all started with a simple idea — planting trees to fight climate change and raise awareness in our community. Bridging Cultures: Our Students' "Pakistan Cultural Box" Exchange Project

At Central Model School Khanewal, we believe in expanding our students’ horizons beyond borders. We are thrilled to share the success of our latest initiative — the Pakistan Cultural Box Project, a unique cultural exchange activity that connected our students with schools across the globe. Our students carefully prepared cultural boxes containing 10 special items that proudly represent Pakistan. These included: The national flag of Pakistan Traditional khussay (handcrafted shoes) Pakistani currency notes Famous cultural recipes Handcrafted items Postcards and cultural souvenirs These boxes were sent to partner schools in the USA, UK, Germany, France, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Isle of Man, India, Nepal, and Taiwan. In return, those schools sent us cultural packages from their own countries. Each box was displayed in the schools so that students could learn about different cultures in a real and engaging way.
